Why Source from Vietnam

The World's Largest Pepper Exporter

Vietnam produces and exports more black pepper than any other country, with established supply chains in Chu Se (Gia Lai), Buon Ma Thuot (Dak Lak), and Phu Quoc Island.

Volume & Reliability

Year-round production capacity from over 100,000 hectares of pepper cultivation. Consistent supply for buyers needing regular monthly containers.

Competitive Origin Pricing

Direct-from-farm sourcing eliminates trader markup. We work with cooperatives and mills, not middlemen, to keep your landed cost down.

Quality at Source

Steam-sterilized, ASTA-cleaned, and ESA-compliant lots available. Certificate of Analysis with every shipment, including microbiology, moisture, and bulk density.

Common Questions

FAQ for Pepper Buyers

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Our standard MOQ is one 20ft FCL — typically 18 metric tons of whole black pepper or 16 MT of white pepper. For ground or specialty grades, MOQ starts at 5 MT. LCL is possible for sample-volume orders but increases per-kg cost significantly.

What payment terms do you offer?

Standard terms are 30% T/T deposit on contract signing, 70% balance against scanned BL. For repeat buyers or volumes above 50 MT, we accept LC at sight from any reputable bank. We do not offer open account or net-30 to first-time buyers — this protects both sides during the relationship-building phase.

Can you provide certificates for EU / US / Japan markets?

Yes. Standard documents include Certificate of Origin, Phytosanitary Certificate, COA (covering moisture, density, microbiology, pesticide residue), and Health Certificate. For EU buyers we provide ESA-aligned cleanliness specs. For Japan, we can arrange JAS-compliant testing. For US, FDA prior notice and FSMA compliance documentation is included.

How do you handle quality disputes?

We strongly recommend independent third-party pre-shipment inspection (SGS, Cotecna, or Bureau Veritas) at buyer's cost — typically $300–500 per container. Their COA becomes the binding quality reference. If a dispute arises post-arrival, we mediate between farm and buyer and have settled previous claims via partial credit or replacement shipment.

Are you a farm, a trader, or a sourcing agent?

We are a Vietnam-based sourcing partner. We do not own pepper farms — we work with a vetted network of cooperatives and mills across Chu Se, Dak Lak, and Phu Quoc. This lets us match each order to the best-fit producer for your spec and budget, rather than pushing one factory's inventory regardless of fit.
